UNISMUH.AC.ID, Makassar — The Department of Islamic Religious Education (PAI), Faculty of Islamic Studies (FAI) of Muhammadiyah University of Makassar (Unismuh) continues to demonstrate its commitment to strengthening internationalization of higher education through the sending of students to cross-country service programs.

This program is part of Unismuh Makassar's strategic agenda to expand the role of students at the global level, particularly in the fields of education and community service.

The Head of the Islamic Religious Education Program, Dr. Abd. Fattah, M.Th.I., expressed his appreciation for this achievement. According to him, the involvement of students in the International KKN is a tangible form of academic service provided by the PAI Program to students who want to expand their experience and knowledge in the international arena.

"This is our way of providing an opportunity for every student who wants to gain international experience. This program is also a concrete step towards the internationalization of the PAI Program in the global competition," said Dr. Abd. Fattah on January 21, 2025, when confirmed via WhatsApp.

He added that the participation of students in the International KKN is also part of the effort to improve the quality of education and service to the community. In addition, the program is considered to contribute positively to strengthening the accreditation value of the PAI Program, particularly in driving achievements towards international accreditation.

Through the International KKN program, students are expected to become campus and Muhammadiyah organization ambassadors, as well as to implement Islamic and scientific values in the context of the global community.
