Revitalizing the Da'wah Movement; PAI Student Association holds Ecological Da'wah Coaching

UNISMUH.AC.ID, MAKASSAR - The Student Association of the Islamic Education Department (HMJ PAI) of Muhammadiyah University (Unismuh) Makassar held the "Coaching Da'i Ecology" program.

The "Coaching Da'i Ecology" program focused on the theme "Eco-Muballigh: Progressive Da'wah Resolution" and was held in the Mini Hall, FEB, 8th Floor, and the Seminar Hall, FAI, 4th Floor, Unismuh Makassar, and continued in Rammang-Rammang, Maros.

The "Coaching Da'i Ecology" program lasted for three days, from Friday to Sunday, November 10-12, 203. A total of 40 participants, consisting of PAI students and internal FAI students, participated in the program.

According to Fathurahman, Chairman of HMJ PAI Unismuh Makassar, "We hope that this program will produce da'is and da'iyah who are environmentally conscious and understand the importance of preserving the ecosystem because ecological commitment is a theological commitment."

"In the "Coaching Da'I Ecology" program, 6 speakers invited by HMJ PAI, namely Eko Prasetyo, Muh Ikhwan AM, Ramli, Ssos, MSos.I, Abd Aziz Ridha, SpdI, MPdI, Asratillah, and Nurafni, were present," he explained.

Furthermore, he explained that on the first day, Eko Prasetyo delivered an introductory lecture on Ecology, followed by Ramli SSos, MSos.I, who presented on the Methodology of Da'wah, which is the basis for da'wah.

This was followed by Abd Aziz Ridha, SpdI, MPdI, who presented on Islamic Ecology, which discusses Islamic principles related to the environment.

"In the subsequent lectures, Asratillah presented on "Progressive Islamic Principles for Ecological Crisis," followed by Nurafni presenting on Ecofeminism, and finally, a visit to Rammang-Rammang, Maros," explained Fatur.
